  1. I met Grace today, visually she looked like she was going to take ‘some’ effort to get there just how much I had to apply didn’t compute until I was in the workout with no escape. I love how the WOD’s always strip you back physically and mentally the latter being how you control your inner voice. I worked up to a weight I knew was going to be heavy (well for me anyway). Yeah I have 30x today now worries, WRONG. About 10x reps in Grace was not the nice girl I thought I was meeting, WTF was happening? Girl please! She had me moving all around the box trying to contain her, here is a tip “it’s no use getting up on your tippy toes in an attempt to try to lock out your elbows” not sure if anyone noticed that? S%#T get back to basics, slow to the knees > explode hips + jump, shrug > fast elbows > set for the dip / drive > lock out. Now I was mad at myself for Grace nearly had me, lucky for me I was able to hear my counter motivators throughout this, big thanks Sanch and Nikki6 critiquing and counting my efforts. It makes it so much easier when you have support. I was able to complete the 30x with a few ‘No reps’ thrown in. My time was h-u-g-e but I don’t care today because I finally met Grace. Thanks girlfriend for a great time, until we meet again…….
