Movember at CF42s… | CrossFit 42 South

As Movember comes to a close I’d like to thank the CF42s team who helped raise over $7800 For men’s health and in particular the issue of prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.
Our team captain Terry went above and beyond to organise an amazing raffle and keep our team on track. As many of you would know, in the last year Terry has been fighting prostate cancer. He has shown nothing but courage and strength in this time whilst continuing to train regularly and keep the younger blokes honest.

Congratulations to the winner of Mr Movemeber for raising the most money in the CF42s Movember Team – Bove.
The winner of best mo was voted by the ladies to be Seano and the ‘mo thats gotta go’ went to Reid ‘The Doctor’ Lugwig.

Hello everyone,

First I’d just like to say thanks to Drummond, Crossfit 42 South, Scott LAWLESS and “the naked co.” for supporting Movember. I met up with Drummond for a quick meeting recently to discuss Movember and Scotty was at the cafe. Did I mention it was “Augusto”? Scotty heard what we were taking about and offered to help out in an instant. Cheers mate.

Stay tuned for some updates and hopefully we might have a WOD lined up that will be a bit of fun. Hehe, it may even the field so anyone can win.

PS, Pizza and beer are paleo!

We had a great turn out for the fun WOD Friday at CF42 that Drummond put together. Nothing like some darts, marbles and the limbo to get some laughs. Thanks to everyone who turned out and those that supported the team through donations and raffle sales this month.
Andrew BOVILL was awarded our Mr MOVEMBER. He raised over $1700.
Sean BLIGHT was awarded the “Best Mo” and Doc was awarded ‘The Mo Thats Gotta Go”.
