I have been crossfitting for just over two years.  It has been the most enjoyable and informative two years of training that I have ever been involved with. Being a netballer and coming back from a knee reconstruction, the training and guidance under the trainers at Crossfit helped build my  confidence in the strength and stability of my knee.  This allowed me to continue playing Netball, and added a additional dimension to my fitness, enabling me to play and compete to a level, where my performance  on the court improved significantly. 

Drummond and his team are fantastic, they are knowledgeable, approachable, enthusiastic and supportive.  The programming this team offers has seen me develop my functional movement. I  am now fitter, stronger, healthier and mentally tougher than I have ever been. I have accomplished new techniques and skills allowing me to become more confident and amazed at what my body can do. 

Training is never a bore, I love the cycles that the coaches program for us throughout the year.   Importantly, the environment at CF42 is one that is fun, encouraging and friendly competition which pushes you to work harder, dig deeper and at the end of the day celebrate your own achievements but also those that we train with.

Crossfit. Whether you like it or not, you gain a second family. It doesn’t matter Whatever your reason is for starting crossfit, or how often you train, you’re sure to get a fist bump, a bum slap or a slap on the back at the end of a wod. And what’s not to love about that!? I love this sport I’ve found, and I love the friendships I’ve formed. 

You can deny it all you want, but at least 92% of you will be competitive as hell…

I first walked through the doors of CF42s unsure and very nervous but more to the point not physically 100%. After working in the construction industry and not looking after myself I had a bad attitude along with 4 misaligned vertebrae in my neck and 3 in my back. Drum and the whole crew at CF42s have helped me rectify these problems all within a social and very positive environment but also very personalised.  In each and every session there is a real reassuring sense of wellbeing and knowing you have the right people looking after your health and have a general compassion towards wanting to see you hit the highest of highs. If you ever find a low point they are the first to help you jump that hurdle and overcome those problems and weaknesses. It doesn’t stop with just physical movement they also cover nutrition and hold regular workshops and will have you involved in great team building exercises, which are great fun but are also fantastic for getting to know your fellow athletes (or good looking roosters)
