"Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports".

Love the yoga! Maybe concurrent with the Monday 7am open gym? A nice relaxing way to start the week!

    • Jess says:

Is it possible to run a yoga and open gym at the same time, or will it be too noisy/busy?

      • BW Dave says:

Agreed, its a bit of a shame to lose the Saturday morning open gym class….its always been a great time to catch up on a wod after the 7/8 am morning sessions.

  2. millie says:

I love the Saturday at 9am, but would prefer a 10am so we can do open gym also :-)

    • Jyra says:

I agree with this idea Millie! I would love yoga to be at 10am so that I have an extra incentive to come to 9am open gym also.

  3. Dan says:

Fully support the yoga for those that want to do it but would like to keep the open gym sessions.

  4. Nick E says:

Yogas good. Especially if everyone else is like me and doesn’t stretch/mobilize as much as they should.

  5. Rockett says:

I’ve only done it once and it was good. Given the nature of the yoga session though I’d guess it wouldn’t be feasible to have yoga at the same time as open gym.

  6. Tan says:

I’m really enjoying the yoga sessions, especially the Thurs 1730 one but I don’t mind when it’s held really.

  7. Alice says:

Sessions bring another element of active recovery that many of us don’t do. Time doesn’t bother me.
