"Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports".

Yoga/Stretch sessions!

Due to the strong interest in the Yoga/stretch class Teresa will run a free trial CF42s Yoga/Stretch class this Thursday night (7th Feb) at 1730.
This will replace the usual 1730 CrossFit session.

Saturday sometime. Sounds great, I would be interested in participating.

  3. Em H says:

I love the idea. I think it will offer a good balance to the program. Just a thought – what about 11am after class on Tues/Thurs? It will certainly work in well for all us shift workers /mums!! Or saturday is good perhaps at same time as open gym – that way you can get home to your beautiful family Drum :) Sunday has become a sacred rest day for many I think!!!

  4. Jesse James says:

As I work shifts, any day would suit me. I am very keen and would certainly do my best to attend! :D

  5. Lindsey says:

I agree with Em, Sunday is an important family and rest day for us (although not in any religious sense!). Like the idea of it being near the end of the week though, to loosen things up before resting and recovering on Sunday. Same time as Saturday open gym sounds good to me.

  6. Tan says:

Saturday or Sunday afternoons are good for me. Or Friday evenings. Super keen for this!

  7. Jak says:

I’d love Sundays, but yes, it is usually my only day off from everything. Having a nice yoga sesh would be great to end/start the week though. Maybe you wouldn’t have to come in Drum. Yoga teacher could have a key..?
I can’t do Saturdays due to bootcamp :( and I probably wouldn’t come back in Sat arvo.
A Tuesday at 11am would be good for me too.
LOVE THE IDEA!! We definitely need it :)
